The Arab Energy Fund, Zamil Group invest in pipeline coating firm

Voyager Interests, a private equity firm specialising in energy services and equipment investments, and The Arab Energy Fund (TAEF) said a consortium including TAEF and Zamil Group Investment Company has agreed to make a strategic minority investment in CRTS Global, supporting the company’s regional and international expansion.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

CRTS is a global provider of internal and external pipeline field joint coating services for the energy and industrial sectors.

The company uses proprietary robotic technologies to apply protective coatings to onshore and offshore pipelines serving natural gas, crude oil, potable water, saltwater, hydrogen and carbon capture applications.

Voyager said the partnership combines its energy services and equipment expertise with the investment capabilities of TAEF and Zamil.

Following its acquisition of RAE Coatings in 2025, CRTS became the only provider offering complete internal and external field joint coating solutions for the offshore sector.

The company has completed coating services on more than five million field joints. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
