Emirates is expanding its customer-focused measures to provide greater flexibility, lower costs and more peace of mind, allowing travellers to adjust plans and access additional support from booking through to arrival.
1. Unlimited free date changes to Dubai
From August 10, 2026, customers travelling to Dubai can
change their travel dates an unlimited number of times free of charge across
eligible fares.
The offer covers Economy Saver through Flex and Business
Class Special, Saver and Flex fares. Economy Flex Plus, Premium Economy,
Business Flex Plus and First Class fares remain fully flexible.
2. Lower refund fees
Emirates has reduced refund fees on flights to Dubai to $50
for Economy Saver fares and $25 for Flex fares.
Business Class refund fees will also be $50 for Special and
Saver fares and $25 for Flex fares.
The changes allow customers to modify or cancel bookings
with lower penalties.
3. One free date change across the network
Customers travelling across the Emirates network can make
one free date change on tickets booked from April 2, 2026, including
itineraries connecting through Dubai. Travellers can also hold fares for 24
hours at no charge while finalising their plans.
4. Comprehensive Travel Cover
Emirates’ Comprehensive Travel Cover provides protection
across a range of situations, including conflict-related cover with medical
reimbursement of up to $25,000, trip cancellation, baggage delay and loss,
unlimited worldwide medical expenses and emergency evacuation.
Customers can also receive a free trip extension of up to 30
days.
The cover is available in 27 countries and can be added
during booking or through Manage Booking.
5. More flexibility for Skywards members
Emirates Skywards members can benefit from greater
flexibility, additional opportunities to progress through loyalty tiers and
more savings when using Miles, giving frequent travellers added value
throughout their journeys.
The airline also provides accommodation for customers affected by disruptions and rebooks passengers to their destinations at no additional cost where necessary, including when airspace disruptions affect flights. -TradeArabia News Service
