The Endress+Hauser Group is advancing its generational transition, with changes at both the Executive and Supervisory Board levels.
Following the planned retirement of several
long-serving Executive Board members, the focus now turns to the Supervisory
Board, where Steven Endress is set to succeed Matthias Altendorf as President
in April 2026.
Altendorf has opted not to seek re-election at the
Annual General Meeting on 13 April, giving the family early notice to ensure a
smooth succession.
The Family Council has unanimously recommended Steven
Endress, a 47-year-old grandchild of the company founder, for election.
He has served on the Supervisory Board since 2024 and
brings 12 years of experience at Endress+Hauser UK, including time as Managing
Director, along with a business administration degree and an MBA.
The Family Council is also seeing generational change,
with Sandra Genge (48) appointed Vice Chair, positioning her to eventually
succeed Chairman Dr Klaus Endress, who plans to step down in 2027.
Genge, a media science and marketing professional, has
been on the Supervisory Board since 2022, strengthening the Council’s link to
the company.
Steven Endress will collaborate with the refreshed
Executive Board on strategic development, supported by the remaining
Supervisory Board members.
Michael Ziesemer will retire on 1 May 2026, succeeded
by COO Dr Andreas Mayr.
The family aims to maintain continuity by reappointing
other board members whose terms are ending. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
