Saudi Arabia and Spain signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to enhance cooperation in the fields of civil aviation and future modes of transportation.
The agreements were signed by Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services
Saleh Al-Jasser and Spanish Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility
Óscar Puente at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh, reported SPA.
The memoranda aim to develop technical, regulatory, and operational cooperation
between the two nations, with a focus on enhancing infrastructure development
and advancing future transportation modes.
The agreements are expected to raise aviation safety standards, enhance
security, improve air operation quality, and elevate passenger experience.
Furthermore, they
will promote digitalisation, innovation, and modern transportation technologies
while developing policies related to future transport modes, multimodal
transport, and air mobility.
