Around 2 million visitors attended Muscat Nights 2026 events, which began in January 2026, while the festival’s programmes and activities created employment opportunities for 500 Omani job seekers.
The integrated vision
of the winter festival was realised by hosting 168 events in 24 locations, reported ONA.
The events combined
entertainment, culture and entrepreneurship, and they proved to be of interest
to different segments of society, thanks to the promotional efforts implemented
by the Muscat Municipality.
Qurum Natural Park
site garnered the highest volume of audience from among the 7 permanent sites
of events of Muscat Nights 2026.
It hosted nighttime
drone shows, with hundreds of programmed drones flew in full harmony, drawing
fascinating moving light formations that lit the sky of the park.
The formations simulated artistic and
cultural symbols inspired by the identity of the Muscat Governorate and the
events, much to the delight of the attendees.
Other venues of Muscat Nights 2026 included
Al Amerat Public Park, Oman Automobile Association, the Royal Opera House
Muscat, A’Seeb Beach, Qurayyat and Wadi Al Khoudh, in addition to individual
shopping centres.
