The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) and Al Ain Convention Centre, part of the Adnec Group, are set to organise and host a record number of events in the upcoming months.
The total events that will be hosted at the Adnec Group's centres during the next four months of the year are expected to exceed the pre-pandemic period by more than 30%.
These events are expected to contribute to attracting a lineup of exhibitors, visitors, and experts from all over the world to Abu Dhabi, with an expected participation rate of more than 40% compared to the pre-pandemic era.
The agenda includes a number of events that will be hosted for the first time in Abu Dhabi and the Middle East. Bringing these events to the emirate forms part of Adnec's efforts to further strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as the capital of business tourism in the region, said a statement.
An Adnec statement said the events’ agenda consolidates its position as an ideal destination for major international events, solidifying its role as the largest exhibition and conference centre in the Middle East and North Africa, spanning an area of more than 153,000 square metres.
The events also reinforce the position of the Al Ain Convention Centre as a primary destination for hosting international exhibitions and conferences in the Mena region, the statement said.
Managing Director and CEO Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri said: "The record number of events that ADNEC Group’s centres will host in the upcoming months, surpassing the rates before the pandemic, are one of the key indicators of our accomplishments."
"Adnec Group has developed and equipped all facilities and infrastructure to welcome visitors from all over the world and ensure the success of these events, reflecting the leading reputation and status of the emirate."
