Occidental IMPZ Dubai Conference & Events Centre, the first Occidental hotel in the Middle East managed by Spanish leading hospitality company Barceló Hotel Group, opened today.

Occidental IMPZ Dubai is in close proximity of the Expo 2020 site and offers a leading space for events.

The four-star deluxe hotel in International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) offers a total of 239 rooms across two towers. The property has a variety of restaurants and bars as well as extensive MICE facilities.

The hotel will serve as a meeting and conference hub for the upcoming Expo 2020. The specially curated conference and events centre boasts four meeting rooms and an expansive ballroom with ample natural light. There is also a multifunctional space on the ground floor, which can be readily used to create bespoke hospitality corners and events. Furthermore, the hotel also accommodates a dedicated library and workspace for business minds and entrepreneurs, both travelers and residents alike.

The hotel caters to both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the hotel is optimised for international travellers, being almost equal distance to Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport, as well as providing easy access to a number of the city’s main landmarks. The hotel is situated within 6 km of Dubai Marina Mall and 7 km of The Walk at JBR as well as 9 km from Mall of the Emirates.

Occidental IMPZ Dubai will have an expansive rooftop pool bar with 360-degree city views and a vibrant tapas and sports bar located on the ground floor.
