Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, a leading luxury property in the UAE emirate, was recently crowned winner in two categories at the Hozpitality Excellence Awards 2015.

Beating over 400 other candidates, the hotel claimed the prize for ‘Restaurant of the Year’ category for Plantation’s Art & Dine concept and ‘Hotel of the Year’ in the Green Initiatives category.

The annual awards exist to recognise top industry organisations which have shown skill, creativity, ingenuity and success in the Middle East & North Africa’s growing hospitality industry. The nominees were reviewed by prominent hospitality professionals who contributed towards the final shortlists for each category, which was then opened for online voting.

Plantation Restaurant & Terrace is a relaxed and elegant dining venue with a unique Art & Dine concept, offering nourishing and authentic European and Mediterranean dishes, cooked and served in traditional cassolettes. The restaurant provides a stunning backdrop to many prestigious art exhibitions all year round from local and international artists.
