DUBAI, October 7, 2015
Falconcity of Wonders, the developer of the multipurpose mega project ‘Falconcity of Wonders’ in Dubai, showcased major investment prospects to hotel operators and investors during its participation at ‘The Hotel Show 2015’ held in the UAE.
The city-scale model of the development at the show attracted visitors, potential investors and fellow exhibitors to its unique ‘World in a City’ concept characterised by internationally-inspired architectural designs and distinctive amenities.
The ‘Falconcity of Wonders’ development model also featured prominently during the event’s Vision Conference, which focused on the most promising mega projects currently underway in the region.
As an important event for international hotel, restaurant, café and foodservice players and an integral part of Dubai’s annual tourism calendar, The Hotel Show was an excellent platform for Falconcity of Wonders to draw global attention to its distinctive and diverse elements, massive investment appeal, and Dubai’s stature as a lifestyle and leisure hub.
Salem Almoosa, chairman and general manager, Falconcity of Wonders, said: “We were able to emphasise the development’s potential impact on local and regional hospitality and tourism in general, in the Hotel Show 2015. Moreover, we were able to outline our ‘World in a City’ proposition in front of a global audience during the show’s Vision Conference.”
Occupying more than 41 million sq ft, Falconcity of Wonders is a sprawling residential, tourist, entertainment and recreational complex shaped in the form of a Falcon, in tribute to the UAE’s emblem, cultural and heritage.
The mega development is renowned for its reproduction of famous sites and structures representing the ‘Wonders of the World’ – including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids of Giza, the Taj Mahal, and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon to name a few.
Falconcity of Wonders also features internationally-themed villas inspired by architectural designs from around the world. Its more than 5,500 residential apartments and villas of different designs, locations and sizes are intended to meet the specific needs of both investors and homeowners.
Upon completion, the city will feature a mixture of components like and not limited to commercial centres, a signature ‘fun city,’ family centres, sports facilities and schools as well. – TradeArabia News Service
