Atlantis to unveil summer packages

DUBAI, May 3, 2015

Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai will unveil a range of unique summer packages in celebration of the Arabian Travel Market 2015, which opens tomorrow (May 4).

The resort will participate under the umbrella of Kerzner International, the international developer and operator of destination resorts and luxury hotels, at the show being held at the the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The leading entertainment resort will introduce packages starting from Dh1,060++ per room per night on bookings between June 16 and 17, including complimentary unlimited access to Aquaventure Waterpark with record breaking rides and the mythical Lost Chambers Aquarium boasting over 65,000 marine animals. Added extras also include a free afternoon session at Atlantis Kids Club or Club Rush, and preferential rates of up to 30 per cent off retail price when swimming with thedolphins at Dolphin Bay or meeting the sea lions at Sealion Point.

During the four-day ATM, Atlantis The Palm, Dubai will offer trade visitors the possibility to try the Virtual Reality Technology goggles which will offer an exciting first at ATM this year, virtual reality technology which allow trade visitors to experience the different activities at the resort. 

Using the all new ‘ZEISS VR One’ virtual reality system with head tracking technology, the wearer is able to seamlessly look around the virtual world just as in real life for the ultimate immersive visual experience. Every subtle movement of the head is tracked in real time creating a natural and intuitive experience, a statement said.

Inspired by the ocean and its wondrous marine life, everything about Atlantis is larger than life. This year the resort will launch a series of new interactive programmes, including an education session about Sea Lions at Aquaventure, the No 1 water park in the Middle East and Europe.

Atlantis also announced today the launch of #SealionSelfie, an initiative that allows hotel guests to take a fun selfie with adorable Sea Lions to share with their followers on social media.

Visitors to ATM can also visit the Kerzner stand (HC6420 in Sheikh Saeed Hall 1) to catch a glimpse of the new Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences. Bought to life through a scalable model, of 46-storey development, will be located on the crescent of The Palm, next to the Atlantis resort, bringing 800 new guest rooms and 250 luxury residences to the area.  – TradeArabia News Service
