Al Meera, a leading retail chain in Qatar, has announced the opening of its new branches at Muaither and Al Azizia area in line with its expansion strategy.

The shopping centres have been constructed as per international standards, to provide a convenient shopping experience for the Qatari community.

On the launch, Dr Mohammed Nasser Al Qahtani, the deputy CEO of Al Meera said: "In line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, to develop various areas around Qatar, Al Meera continues to apply its motto in being ‘"Your Favourite Neighbourhood Retailer", and answering the residents’ needs in the areas that are witnessing fast expansion by providing them with a unique and convenient shopping experience in each of our branches.”

The 1,685 sq m Al Azizia branch entails 455 sq m of supermarket area, offering shoppers a wide variety of food and non-food related items as well as fresh products. The branch includes a butcher shop and is scheduled to have five retail outlets open soon.

The Muaither branch, located on Umm Al Dhoom Street, is spread over 2,602 sq m and will entail 10 outlets, which will be inaugurated soon.

The outlet boasts 498 sq m of supermarket space and has self-service sections, where customers can shop for meat, fish and some snacks directly, thus making their shopping easier and faster.-TradeArabia News Service
