Italian fashion brand opens Dubai Mall store

Gaudi, a premium Italian Fashion brand, has announced the opening of its first Middle East flagship store in The Dubai Mall, marking a new store to its 20 years of fashion existence.

In January Gaudi opened its first Middle East store in Dubai’s Festival City Mall, followed by The Dubai Mall and is now looking at rapid expansion across the region, a company statement said.

Gaudi plans to open three stores in Saudi Arabia, followed by three additional stores in the UAE before the end of 2014.

Stefano Bonacini, Gaudi CEO and owner, Gaudi Italy said: “I am delighted and proud to witness Gaudi’s expansion into the Middle East. I strongly believe that a premium brand like Gaudi will perform exceptionally well in this new market. The Middle East has risen to the forefront as a rapidly emerging market in terms of fashion retailing. Dubai specifically is the standard bearer in this regard.”

“It’s been a fantastic opening for Gaudi and I am anticipating a huge response from our customers in the Middle East. It feels great to be here with our first Flagship store in The Dubai Mall. The store currently boasts an innovative and exquisite Spring Summer 2014 Collection from Gaudi,” said Poonam Chauhan, senior brand manager, Gaudi UAE.

“I believe there are a large number of consumers who would benefit from the introduction of this wonderful Italian brand into our market,” she added.

The new Gaudi store occupies an area of 2000 sq ft making it the brand’s flagship store. Gaudi stocks a range of fashion and accessories for young men and women. – TradeArabia News Service
