Etisalat launches 4G LTE Wi-Fi device

Etisalat, the leading telecom operator in the UAE, has launched its first 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi device, offering customers superfast browsing and downloading on the country’s first and widest 4G LTE network.
4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi is a wireless broadband router that features a light weight (120g), 1.45-inch TFT screen and a battery lasting eight to 10 hours.
The device notifies users of new messages and can save up to 300 messages. It allows up to 10 users to connect simultaneously to enjoy a high-speed surfing experience at Wi-Fi speeds of up to 30Mbps.
Khaled ElKhouly, chief marketing officer at Etisalat, said, “Providing superfast Internet access to up to 10 devices simultaneously, the 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi device takes performance standards to a new level that meets our customers’ needs in terms of data usage.”
“Etisalat will continue its efforts to provide solutions that can harness the power of the fourth generation broadband to benefit our various customer segments in the country.”
Customers can purchase the new 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi device on a standalone basis at Dh799 ($217), a statement said.
Etisalat’s new and existing customers can get it for free or at a discounted price when subscribing to My DataPlan Extra or Ultra packs on a six or twelve months contractual basis, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
