Scottish violin star Nicola Benedetti joined the outstanding British ensemble Orchestra of the Age of Enlightement to captivate an Abu Dhabi Festival audience with unparalleled renditions of works by Beethoven.

The special pre-festival performance was attended by Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Tolerance, and revealed the breadth and depth of the 15th edition of the region’s largest celebration of arts and culture, the Abu Dhabi Festival 2018.

The evening comprised Beethoven’s Symphony No.4 and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61, which Benedetti performed and directed simultaneously.
