Iraq ... oil exports surge in May

Iraq's May oil exports rise to record average 3.145 mbpd

BAGHDAD, June 1, 2015

Oil exports from Iraq rose to a record average of 3.145 million barrels per day (mbpd) in May from 3.08 million the previous month, the oil ministry said.
 
A record 2.694 mbpd were exported from the southern Basra terminals, while exports from the north via pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan reached 451,000 bpd.
 
Revenue rose to more than $5 billion, with the average selling price for a barrel of crude at $55. --Reuters
