Saudi Arabia, Jordan sign economic cooperation
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, March 1, 2022
Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Amman Chamber of Industry have signed a cooperation agreement to enhance industrial, commercial and investment relations between the Saudi and Jordanian business sectors.
The memorandum aims to encourage cooperation through exchanging information in the fields of industry, economy, investment and commercial laws and regulations, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Naif A. Al-Rajhi and President of the Amman Chamber of Industry Fathi Al-Jaghbir signed the document, which falls under joint keenness of both sides to further enhance economic cooperation relations between the two countries’ business people and realize joint interests.
The cooperation aspects between the two chambers, according to items of the memorandum, include exchanging available information on economic activities in the two countries; information on the fields of industry economy, investment and commercial laws and regulations and any possible changes to them; cooperation between the two sides in organizing economic and investment events and forums and encouraging the exchange of visits between commercial delegations.
It seeks to establish a communication network between the two business sectors in the two countries to facilitate acquainting members of both chambers with commercial and investment opportunities available in both countries.
