IBM receives UAE Emiratisation award

DUBAI, March 16, 2020

IBM has announced that it has won the UAE Emiratization Award in the “high-tech establishments category” by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) for implementing Emiratisation initiatives and supporting UAE national employees.
 
The award was presented to IBM by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai during an award ceremony in Abu Dhabi  and in the presence of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
 
The Emiratisation Award is an annual award organised by MOHRE to recognise the pioneers of Emiratisation in the private sector. It’s designed to support the objectives of UAE Vision 2021, which aims to achieve an Emirati-centred knowledge economy and effective participation of Emiratis in the UAE labour market. IBM was awarded in recognition of its strategy to develop UAE national talent, reinforcing its stewardship for diversity and inclusion.
