Saudi water tariff to rise, says report

RIYADH, November 2, 2015

Saudi Arabia will raise its water tariff for non-residential consumers by over 50 per cent from December 16, the local Al-Watan newspaper reported in an article posted on the website of the Ministry of Water and Electricity.

The new rate for industrial, government or large company users will be SR9 ($2.40) per cubic metre, up from SR4 riyals, the article said.
