The Collection of Experiences Hospitality, one of the Kingdom’s leading hospitality companies, has signed a leasing agreement with Eagle Hills Diyar, the pioneering developer behind the iconic Marassi Al Bahrain project, to launch its Cipriani brand into the kingdom.

 

The agreement marks a significant milestone for the kingdom with Cipriani specially tailoring its Bahrain venue, bringing glamour, unparalleled service and traditional Italian cuisine to Bahrain’s dining and recreational offering, said the developer. 

 

Marassi Al Bahrain is a unique urban project by Eagle Hills, a private real estate investment and development company, headquartered in Abu Dhabi. The project forms part of a joint venture with Diyar Al Muharraq, the developer of mega-project Diyar Al Muharraq.

 

Marassi Al Bahrain is set to be one of the kingdom’s preeminent developments, offering premium homes, high-end shopping, leisure and entertainment. 

 

An 875,000 sq m development, the Marassi Al Bahrain masterplan includes 6,600 residential apartments, 245,000 sq m of retail space, and Marassi Galleria; a shopping and entertainment destination. 

 

The development features two world-class hotels including The Address Marassi Al Bahrain and Vida Marassi Al Bahrain. Between them they have 300 branded serviced apartments and 275 hotel rooms. 

 

The complex also features a 34,000 sqm central park with play areas for all ages, a two-kilometre promenade, white sandy beaches and a range of restaurants and cafés. 

 

Eagle Hills Diyar said the agreement was also indicative of Bahrain being one of the region’s must-visit destinations with Cipriani Bahrain set to become a highly sought-after hotspot for residents and visitors alike. 

 

The venue is unique as it is the first ever Cipriani to include beach and pool areas for its guests. Cipriani Bahrain will also include two distinct settings, Socialista which will be a private members club and the Jazz Café which draws its influences from the Golden Age of Jazz, it added.

 

Cipriani evolved from the legendary Harry’s Bar in Venice, was founded in 1931 and declared in 2001 a national landmark by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Affairs, said a spokesman for the company.
