MANAMA, March 22, 2021

Promoseven Holdings, a leading real estate developer in Bahrain, has announced that it will soon start handing over the units within the Diyar Alkhair, a residential project targeted at low- or middle-income citizens.

Diyar Alkhair, which boasts two 14-storey towers, will form an integrated city at Sanabis in the heart of the commercial Bahrain.

Located 3 km from the capital, Manama, the project is at the centre-point of a highway connecting southern and northern Bahrain at Sanabis.

Unveiling the future plans, Chairman Akram Miknas said more than 80 per cent of the project stands finished and work is in full swing for its timely completion.

Promoseven Holdings has also set up a mock-up apartment for prospective buyers to get a complete idea of the finished product.

"Our aim, through the Diyar Alkhair project, is to contribute to the national efforts for providing economical housing for Bahrainis. We utilized the large land area on which the development is built to create affordable apartments for low- or middle-income Bahrainis," remarked Maknas.

"The complex is directed primarily at the residents of neighbouring communities in the villages of Budaiya Street, Jadd Hafs, Al-Burhama among others, who wish to own an apartment at an affordable price without compromising the main requirements of the apartment and the distinct service facilities," he added.

Ibtissam Laitoum, the Head of the Real Estate department at Promoseven Holdings, said the first phase of the Diyar Alkhair project, consists of two 14-storey towers and 120 apartments of various sizes, designed to meet the needs of the modern Bahraini family.

Laitoum pointed out that it was witnessing an overwhelming response for the project, thanks to the attractive pricing which starts at BD50,000 ( $131,800) onwards, thus making them affordable for many citizens and investors.

"Promoseven Holdings has made all the necessary preparations to start handing over apartments to the residents and investors, after providing a showcase unit in the project that allows prospective owners to get a complete picture about the final design of the apartments," she explained.

The project is included in the Mazaya programme, an affordable mortgage programme supported by the Ministry of Housing for eligible citizens to get financing subsidized by the ministry, she added.-TradeArabia News Service
