Oman floats tenders for new science, innovation centre

Oman has floated a tender for the construction of an innovation centre project in the Ibri region of the sultanate, said a report.
The 1,565-sq-m project, adjoining Ibri Hospital, is one of several sustainable social development projects being implemented by the private sector in various governorates of the sultanate, reported Oman Observer.
It comprises a multi-purpose hall, a library, a theatre, an astronomical observatory dome, a celebration hall and a science and innovation centre, it stated.
