Leading building experts, city developers and architects will take part in the inaugural edition of the ‘Future Cities Show’ which opens on April 2 in Dubai, UAE, under the theme of “Sustainability, Innovation, Happiness”.

The show has many strategic partners: Dubai Land Department, Federal Transport Authority-Land and Maritime, Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, and the Sustainable City.  It will witness through three days the participation of exhibitors from both the public and private sectors, said the organisers.

The event is being held at Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of UAE Ministry of Infrastructure development.

In the Sustainability Zone, exhibitors include Dubai Investment, Roof Care and Tadweer, among others. In the Innovation Zone, exhibitors encompass Wattway, ArcSecond, and University of Wollongong and many others. In the Happiness Zone, the show hosts Robox, Velours, and ESenses and many other exhibitors.

Future Cities Show programme includes many discussions, workshops, and seminars which will discuss sustainability, innovation, and happiness in the cities of the future.

The opening day will have 10 different activities to discuss plenty of subjects such as Dubai’s contribution towards Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Future for Properties in Dubai.

The second day will witness 20 activities with topics like: Honeywell Smart Building Score (HSBS) for Green, Safe and Productive Buildings, Cities and Life, Transformation through Transportation, and Happiness by Design: Planning Future Cities.

While the last day of the show will witness 16 activities such as: How Smart Technologies are going to Better Manage Road and Traffic in the UAE, Wasteful Energy in Food Waste, and Harnessing Waste Energy from Landfills.
