The Duqm Special Economic Zone Authority (Sezad) is offering new investment opportunities for the local private sector that includes the construction of a commercial centre (suq) as part of efforts to boost private sector investment in Oman.

According to a press release,  an area of 80,000 sq m located in a vivid location within the populous Sai District has been assigned for the construction of the commercial centre.

The land is also located near a project for 150 residential units for people of Duqm, and near commercial banks and the centre of commercial activity in the Wilayat of Duqm.

Sezad aims to see market become the nucleus of the modern city of Duqm and to be developed by the investor in a manner that meets the needs of the local community and residents. - TradeArabia News Service
