Bahraini jewellery designer Amal Sanad, the owner of 'Kyan Jewellery' won the Best Creativity Award at the Milan Jewellery Week held recently in the Italian city, thus making her the first Bahraini to receive this prestigious accolade.

 

Sanad's remarkable ability to seamlessly blend originality and historical influences with modern creativity earned her the jury's appreciation and distinguished her as the award recipient.

 

This remarkable piece, a result of her collaboration with esteemed University of Bahrain artist and academic Dr Mayasa Al Sowaidi, highlighted her unique artistic vision and stood out among numerous competitors at the festival, said a statement from Kyan Jewellery.

 

On the top recognition, Sanad said: "I am truly honoured to receive this prestigious award during Milan Jewellery Week, which not only highlights my project but also elevates the Kingdom of Bahrain's position in the global jewellry industry, a nation renowned for its excellence in craftsmanship, gold, and natural pearls."
