Kuwait’s Heavy Engineering Industries and Ship-building Company (Heisco) has announced that it has been awarded a major contract for civil and mechanical work at Saudi oil giant Aramco’s Abqaiq oil facilities in Eastern Saudi Arabia.

 

The SAR257.5 million ($69 million) deal was signed with the Engineering for the Petroleum & Process Industries Company (Saudi branch), the main project contractor, to 'debottleneck production facilities' in Abqaiq, said Heisco in its filing to Boursa Kuwait.

 

The entire 'civil and mechanical package' at Abqaiq facilities will be completed by H1 2027, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
