Syria’s Ministry of Tourism has officially launched the 2026 summer tourism season in the presence of President Ahmad al-Sharaa, as part of ongoing efforts to revive the sector during the post-liberation recovery phase.
The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has launched its Saudi Summer 2026 offers platform under the slogan “Unlock More,” in partnership with more than 50 private-sector tourism partners, to boost domestic and Gulf tourism during the summer season.
The Aseer Region Municipality in Saudi Arabia has launched a summer readiness plan, preparing 671 parks and deploying more than 1,500 personnel to enhance municipal services, maintain public facilities, and accommodate increased visitor numbers during the peak tourism season.
Etihad Airways is entering its largest summer season ever, operating more than 300 daily flights, carrying near-record passenger loads and launching or returning nine destinations within days as demand for travel to, from and through Abu Dhabi continues to accelerate, the Abu Dhabi-based airline said.
