UAE-based Shamal Holding has appointed ALEC Fitout, a leading fit-out specialist in the region, as main contractor for the first major phase of transformation of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, one of Dubai's most iconic hotels located on Palm Jumeirah. The full completion of this phase is expected by early 2027.
Bahraini authorities has announced that a major revamp of Manama’s historic suq is currently underway, with the redevelopment of the covered arcade and the Bab Al Bahrain complex scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter, said a report.

His Majesty King Hamad was briefed on the proposed masterplan to redevelop Awali City in Bahrain, covering commercial, office and residential units as well as green spaces in addition to a pedestrian and sports pathway. It is aimed at preserving the architectural identity and urban heritage of the city.
