Axens has been awarded a contract by Argentina’s YPF to implement a 5,000 m³/day low-sulphur diesel hydrotreater at its Industrial Complex using Prime-D technology. The unit will be delivered through prefabricated modules, reducing the project schedule by six months compared with conventional construction.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company said its key unit XRG and top Italian petroleum company Eni have signed separate agreements with Argentina's state-controlled energy company YPF to acquire 32% stakes each in three upstream gas blocks in the Vaca Muerta shale formation.
Abu Dhabi-based XRG has signed an agreement with leading Italian petroleum company Eni and Argentinian group YPF for the development of an integrated gas and liquefaction project on Argentina’s Vaca Muerta shale basin that will help position the country as a long-term global LNG supplier.
