African Export-import Bank (Afreximbank) has extended a $36.4-million contract financing facility to Egypt’s SAMCO-National Construction Company (SAMCO) for the construction of the Akii Bua Olympic Stadium in Uganda.
Emirates has celebrated 25 years of operations to Uganda. Since the inaugural flight in 2000, Emirates has transported 2.8 million passengers on 15,900 flights, connecting passengers from Uganda, with its vast global network, via Dubai.
