Saudi travellers are broadening their summer travel choices, with a cluster of secondary cities recording sharp increases in searches for round-trip flights, according to the latest data from Wego, a major travel app and online travel marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Skyscanner has revealed affordable late-summer and September destinations for Saudi travellers, with AlUla leading summer value at SAR471 ($126) and Madinah offering the lowest September return fares at SAR400.
Summer travel remains a priority for Saudi travellers, with 42% already booked and 44% still planning trips. Skyscanner research shows growing demand for flexible, experience-led travel and integrated tools that simplify decisions on flights, accommodation and transport.
