Kistos has received confirmation of a Royal Decree from Oman, completing the transfer of legal ownership of onshore Blocks 3 and 4 from Mitsui E&P Middle East to the independent energy company.
Kistos, an independent energy company, has signed a binding agreement to acquire a 5 per cent working interest in Block 9 and a 20% interest in Blocks 3 & 4 from Mitsui E&P Middle East, all located onshore in Oman.
Independent energy company Kistos has signed a sales and purchase agreement with Vår Energi to acquire a 10 per cent working interest in three production licences on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for $12.9 million.
