Flynas backs Saudi Arabia's first Marketing Forum

RIYADH, November 1, 2018

Saudi Arabian budget carrier flynas recently sponsored the kingdom’s first Marketing Forum titled “Marketing as an Engine and Catalyst for Creative Ideas”, which was held on October 28 and 29 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Riyadh.

Flynas stated that the sponsorship of this event came with the aim of supporting the kingdom’s marketing sector, pointing out that it is striving to be present at various cultural, social and sports events as a leading national air carrier.
 
Mousa Bahri, the vice president of marketing and corporate communications of flynas, stressed the importance of this forum, which at its first session reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the marketing sector in Saudi Arabia and the role of marketing in the growth and development of vital sectors such as travel, tourism, aviation, entertainment, communications and information technology.

Bahri said: “Flynas has been working for years to support meetings and forums that contribute to raising the community’s awareness and enriching the marketing and corporate communications industry." He noted that the forum serves as a platform which will facilitate the evolution of theoretical and applied marketing content in the kingdom, and exchange knowledge amongst academics and professionals involved in the field of marketing content development."

The first Marketing Forum is an initiative by the Saudi Marketing Association, which was organised with the aim of contributing to the development of theoretical and applied marketing content. The Saudi Marketing Association aimed at making this annual event an incubator platform for academics and professionals involved in the field of marketing content development through publishing scientific research, practical applications, reviewing the marketing developments locally and globally and enriching the Arabic marketing content by using the Arabic language for all sessions, speakers, papers and scientific researches. The forum included a number of activities; eight discussion sessions, five keynote speakers, seven workshops repeated over the two days and accompanying marketing activities. - TradeArabia News Service
