KLM celebrates 55 years of service to Kuwait

KUWAIT, September 25, 2018

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands, is marking 55 years of scheduled passenger services to Kuwait, which began in September 1963.

The celebrations will focus on the official anniversary - September 25 - with a special discount of KD55 ($181.1) for all active Flying Blue members travelling with tickets purchased in Kuwait, and a chance for one member to win an economy class ticket to any destination in Europe, USA/Canada, for travellers flying out of Kuwait to Amsterdam on the day. Travellers can join the celebrations by visiting the KLM ticketing office for the discount offer, and the check-in desk for the play to win promotion.

KLM has linked Kuwait to the rest of the world since 1963 and today operates six daily flights from Kuwait International Airport, connecting passengers to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and into the airline’s extensive global network. The airline serves Kuwait with commercial, station and cargo services and has a team of around 20 12 staff based in Kuwait.

Founded in 1919, KLM is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name. Since May 2004, Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have become the largest European airline group: one group, two airlines. - TradeArabia News Service
