Flyadeal celebrates its one millionth passenger

RIYADH, July 26, 2018

Saudi Arabia's low fare airline Flyadeal marked a major milestone on July 23 as it welcomed its one millionth passenger at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport.

The airline, which has completed 10 months of operation, held a surprise ceremony for its one millionth passenger.

A marketing stunt was launched hours before the arrival of the title holder where a group of distinctive individuals from the organizing team roamed the terminal carrying a sign that read ‘Are you the millionth?’ and tested a sparkling lime jacket on random travellers in a dynamic search of flyadeal’s one millionth title holder. Upon his arrival, he was given a surprise at the check-in gate and escorted on a red carpet all the way to the departure hall where he was greeted by the company’s CEO, Con Korfiatis, Riyadh Airport management team and fellow travellers.

Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal, said: “We are not only celebrating our one millionth passenger today, but the million customers whose trust and confidence in flyadeal has allowed us to achieve this promising milestone. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our valued customers for giving us the opportunity to serve and provide them with a high value, low fares travel experience. I would also like to extend our gratitude to the efforts of our partners in both the public and private sectors of the aviation industry, who have actively supported and contributed to the success of our operations.”

The CEO of flyadeal added that the company will continue its customer-centric strategy of offering the lowest fares, providing great service to all passengers especially those with special needs, and simplifying the travel process and making it easier and more comfortable through expanding its digital services. - TradeArabia News Service
