Osman Selim has been appointed as hotel manager of Hyatt Regency Dubai & Galleria, situated in the heritage heart of the city.

In his new role, Selim will administer divisional department activities, develop reviews, updates and implement business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance and services. He will be responsible for fostering and maintaining positive and supportive relationships with team members, smooth and efficient running of hotel operations and extending of the brand experience.

Prior to this appointment, Selim was the executive assistant manager and director of rooms at Hyatt Regency Dubai & Galleria. He was recognised for improving guest satisfaction scores and assisting with increasing the overall profitability of the hotel.

After completing his Bachelor of Commerce from Cairo University in 1999, Selim joined Hyatt hotels in February 2000 as a guest services officer at Hyatt Regency Dubai & Galleria. Subsequently, until his recent promotion, Selim has gained valuable experience in the hotel as well as at Grand Hyatt Dubai in various roles including Sales, Events and Rooms. - TradeArabia News Service
