Turkish Airlines, flying to more destinations in Africa than any other airline, marked another milestone in its international expansion with the launch of flights to Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, said the statement from the Turkish carrier.

With existing services to city–hubs of Accra, Lagos, Bamako, Conakry, Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou, Douala, Yaounde, N’Djamena, Ougadougou, Niamey, Cape Town, Johannesburg and a lot more, Turkish Airlines now adds flights to Freetown as its 52nd destination in Africa, it stated.

Beginning from February 24, Turkish Airlines will operate its Freetown flights twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The services will be providing a link between Istanbul Atatürk International Airport and the Lungi International Airport via Ouagadougou, it added.

The introductory round trip fares are available from Istanbul to Freetown starting at $830 (including taxes and fees).

With the launch of its direct flights to Freetown, Turkish Airlines has now spread its reach to a total 121 countries and 301 destinations, respectively.-TradeArabia News Service
