Dubai Parks opens Chinese New Year Temple Fair

DUBAI, February 11, 2018

Dubai Parks and Resorts, the region’s largest integrated theme park destination, has opened its first “Chinese New Year Temple Fair” at Riverland Dubai, the free to enter, themed dining and entertainment hub.

The opening ceremony, which took place yesterday (February 10), was attended by Wang Zhenshan – Vice General Consul of People’s Republic of China, Ni Wei – chairman of International Tourism Promotion Association of China, and Ahmad Al Rayyes – chief commercial officer at DXB Entertainment PJCS accompanied by members of the senior management from Dubai Parks and Resorts.

The “Chinese New Year Temple Fair” is running from February 10-24, with various Chinese cultural activities, entertainment and decorations to commemorate the Year of the Dog. Guests of Riverland Dubai will enjoy a host of Chinese cultural events and performances, including a traditional Chinese market, roaming acts, pasting couplets, a Chinese lanterns display, and an authentic Chinese market offering arts and crafts and various Chinese food & beverage options.

The market will also feature themed roaming acts as well as puppet shows, folk theatre, Sichuan opera and a spectacular firework show that will be held on February 15-17 at 8:00pm. – TradeArabia News Service
