Oman Air honours travel agents at event

Recognising the ongoing contribution and commitment of travel agents to Oman Air, the airline recently hosted a special event to thank the agents at the Golden Tulip hotel in Muscat.
The uniquely conceptualised event that took place on December 17 was well attended by the leading travel agents in Oman.
Oman Air’s acting CEO, Abdulaziz Al Raisi, expressed his gratitude to the travel agents’ efforts and support in promoting Oman Air to the travelling public. The event was also a perfect opportunity for the airline to showcase all the exciting initiatives for 2018. During the occasion, Oman Air shared the latest news on recent and upcoming plans as well as their new products, services, destinations, and their new on-board menu and dining experience.
Speaking at the event, Al Raisi said: “Travel Agents are an integral segment of Oman Air business and we are proud to be working alongside our partners in the travel industry. Together, we can offer our customers added value and an enhanced travel experience. With the supply of seats exceeding the demand for flights, we know how essential it is to continue to differentiate our offerings and ensure that our guests receive only the very best in Omani hospitality. We congratulate all those agencies that have made, and continue to make an important contribution to the growth of Oman Air, and we look forward to providing further mutual support to them.
Earlier this year, Oman Air introduced a new incentive scheme for Travel Agents in Oman aimed at encouraging them to achieve higher sales for Oman Air. The scheme rewards the best-selling travel agent for each quarter with the grand prize of a Mini Cooper, which comes in addition to the support that Oman Air already offers agencies for training and joint marketing. The new incentive scheme has been created to complement the existing loyalty and quality award scheme for travel agencies and has already proved very popular. - TradeArabia News Service
