Dubai Culture & Arts Authority highlighted Dubai’s flourishing artistic and cultural landscape and a series of initiatives that boost Dubai’s growing creative scene at the recently concluded World Travel Market in London, UK.
The Authority was part of the UAE stand at the event, where it appeared in cooperation with the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai.
Dubai Culture also promoted activities, events and projects such as the Etihad Museum and the cultural agenda for next year. The Authority’s representatives also distributed the art exhibition brochure for Dubai Art Season 2018.
Saeed Al Nabouda, acting director general of Dubai Culture, said: "At World Travel Market, Dubai Culture has been able to showcase its activities on Dubai’s stand along with other government institutions. We see such exhibitions as an opportunity to highlight our pivotal role in stimulating and encouraging cultural tourism in the UAE in general.”
“During the exhibition, we introduced the activities and initiatives that we launch and organise throughout the year to reflect the vision of our leadership. We are very pleased with the high footfall and interest we generated, especially around the Etihad Museum and the role it plays in informing the local and international public about the history and the establishment of the UAE, and the dedication of the Founding Fathers in the creation of the union,” Al Nabouda added.
World Travel Market is organised in London, offering a variety of UK destinations, industry sectors and opportunities to meet international travel experts, and attracting international companies working in this field. The exhibition also provides a unique opportunity for the global travel industry, allowing employees in this sector to meet, get acquainted, enhance mutual relationships, communicate and conclude agreements and deals. – TradeArabia News Service
