Grand Millennium Al Wahda appoints new general manager

DUBAI, September 27, 2017

Grand Millennium Al Wahda, a leading five-star hotel in Dubai, has appointed Enad Tannous as its new general manager.

Tannous brings with him over 21 years of hospitality experience within the GCC region, with almost 10 years in senior General Management positions.

He joins Grand Millennium Al Wahda directly from Rotana where he also held the position of general manager for two properties in Abu Dhabi – the Capital Center Arjaan and Centro Capital Centre, leading from pre-opening phase to now. Prior to this role he was general manager for the InterContinental Aqaba Resort (Aqaba, Jordan) from 2011 to 2013 and Crowne Plaza Resort (Petra, Jordan) from 2009 to 2011.

Tannous’s previous roles include management positions with Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn properties across the GCC in Oman, UAE and Jordan.

Tannous will oversee all management and operations, planning to focus on exceeding business targets and further enhance the overall guest experience at the property. “I look forward to working with the Grand Millennium Al Wahda’s highly committed team to further position it as the hotel of choice for business travelers and holiday-makers coming to the Capital,” he said.

Graduating with a Diploma in Hotel Management, his education since then has comprised of various management courses across a range of industry related topics at Emirates Academy (Dubai) and Executive Revenue Academy (Cairo) as well as a leadership course at Ashridge Executive, London. -TradeArabia News Service
