Bahrain, Italy committed to strengthening tourism ties

MANAMA, September 20, 2017

Bahrain has confirmed its commitment to further enhancing areas of cooperation between the kingdom and Italy, especially the tourism sector, with the recent visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Bahrain.

A meeting was held and was attended by the chief executive officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, and Alberto Vecchi, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy.

During the meeting, Shaikh Khaled mentioned the BTEA’s readiness to strengthen bilateral relations and work towards achieving their joint goals through adopting tourism initiatives that will benefit both, the kingdom and Italy.

The Italian Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and affirmed his readiness to enhance the joint cooperation between the two countries in the tourism field and to further explore bilateral initiatives. - TradeArabia News Service
