'Fly Good Feel Good' with Turkish Airlines and Dr Öz

ISTANBUL, July 25, 2017

Focussing on healthy living, Turkish Airlines has started a new project called 'Fly Good Feel Good' in collaboration with the famous heart surgeon, Dr. Mehmet Öz.

Öz, the producer and host of the American TV show "The Dr. Oz Show," will advise Turkish Airlines' passengers on healthy nutrition and exercise.

The project features short videos and printed materials that are displayed on the airline's website, social media accounts and in-flight entertainment systems.

The project was launched with a surprise meeting between Öz and passengers over the in-flight entertainment system during one of the airline's Istanbul-New York flights. Dr Öz delivered short messages about making healthy life choices and handed out small gifts to nearly 300 passengers during the special flight.

Turkish Airlines Chairman İlker Ayci met Öz and said, "Dr. Öz will create a special atmosphere for our guests to enjoy the privilege of flying with Turkish Airlines even more in the plane."

"I believe that the 'Fly Good Feel Good' project is a great example of focussing on the passengers overall wellbeing as well as experience onboard the carrier,"Dr. Öz said.

With short videos on cabin exercises, sleep patterns, yoga and meditation broadcast on board as well as on the official website of THY, the project aims to guide passengers to experience a relaxed flight.

Under the Fly Good Feel Good project, Turkish Airlines has also initiated a volunteer-based "Flying Doctor" scheme, which will enable physicians who are registered with the airline to gain extra miles on their flights. When a doctor is needed on board, airline personnel will ask for help from these doctors who have previously registered in the programme. - TradeArabia News Service
