Stratajet appoints new marketing manager
LONDON, June 14, 2017
Stratajet, the world's first instant, online marketplace for private jets, has expanded its core marketing team with the appointment of Verity Richardson as marketing manager.
Working closely with Ricardo Gato, chief marketing officer, Richardson will assist in the growth of Stratajet, harnessing strategic insights to penetrate untapped markets.
Since graduating from Durham University, Richardson has amassed a wealth of experience across the luxury sector, having started her career at NetJets. Here she developed and implemented strategies to improve the ROI of the global marketing budget and amplify the impact of global customer acquisition campaigns, advising the EU CEO on growth opportunities in new markets.
Prior to joining Stratajet, Verity was the marketing manager at the Maybourne Hotel Group – owner of Claridges, The Connaught and The Berkeley. Amongst a wide remit, she oversaw all the group’s partnerships and managed customer communication.
On joining Stratajet, Verity said: “I’m very excited to join Stratajet – a platform I’ve admired for some time now. Its revolutionary technology and understanding of the luxury sector customer experience make it an ideal match for my competencies. I look forward to using my expertise in competitor and customer insights to take the business forward.”
Gato added: “I’d like to welcome Verity, another key appointment, to the Stratajet family. She joins at an important stage of Stratajet’s growth as we build on our initial success of redefining private aviation by opening up the industry to wider audiences. Verity’s understanding of the luxury travel market will play a vital role in continuing this trend, as we embark on the next stage of Stratajet’s growth.”
