Turkish Airlines has launched its newest laptop offering on-board scheme for the business class passengers on all its US and UK-bound flights.

 

Announcing the scheme, the national flag carrier said starting from today (May 6), business class passengers on all its US-bound flights will be offered laptops, while a similar scheme will be launched for its UK-bound business class passengers from May 12.

 

Turkish Airlines continues to develop new solutions for its passengers with respect to the electronics ban, applied on US and UK bound flights, said the statement. 

 

The laptops, to be given inside the flight, have the feature of being a tablet after being folded and as well as a touchscreen property. It will be offered through a high security system which protects the personal information/works of the passengers by automatically and permanently deleting them all from the system once the notebook computer shuts down, said the statement from Turkish Airlines. 

 

However, with this system those passengers who wish to make a copy from those personal works to an USB memory stick, can easily do that, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
