Street Food Market DXB to make a comback

DUBAI, March 20, 2017

Following a successful launch of the urban street food market for adults last January, Street Food Market DXB will be back this Friday (March 24) at a new location.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club will be the new host for a one-day street food experience featuring 20 pop-up concepts and food trucks in a creative outdoor setting under the groovy beats of local talented DJs.

Featuring some of the city’s most creative homegrown food entrepreneurs, this edgy event is a perfect mix between street food and a block party. There will be something for everyone – from fusion dishes where ‘East meets west,’ revisited burgers and hotdogs, to a giant smoking BBQ and grill for meat lovers. Guests will enjoy sipping on house beverages, international hops and grapes to accompany their dishes.

The marina setting of Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club will serve as a unique background for the signature funky industrial decor of Street Food Market DXB, which would not be complete without the beats from local community of DJs who will be mixing lounge, funk, reggae, hip hop and more.

Talking about his latest creation, cultural entrepreneur Alexandre Teodoresco, who is also the creator of groundbreaking concepts such as Truckers DXB and Street Nights, said: “We are excited to take the second leg of Street Food Market DXB to an unusual location in the city. This innovative concept offering a ‘free spirited’ outdoor event for adults only takes pride of our homegrown talents, and we are happy to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs through this unique experience.”

Managed by events management company Core ME, the one-day Street Food Market DXB is a free entry event for adults over the age of 21. Opening hours are from 3pm to 12am. Limited spaces are available.
