Saudia to issue tickets through vending machines

RIYADH, March 15, 2017

As part of efforts to improve facilities offered to its customers, Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has rolled out Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, allowing passengers to purchase their tickets 24×7, said a report.

The service, which was first introduced at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, will soon cover all airports in the kingdom, said a report in Saudi Gazette.

The TVMs allow passengers to purchase both domestic or international air tickets, make reservations, get tickets for excess baggage, obtain boarding passes, select preferred seats and order a favorite meal.

Saudia is going to install 163 TVMs at 79 vital locations in 29 cities and towns.
