Rixos The Palm Dubai sees 90pc occupancy

DUBAI, December 20, 2016

Rixos The Palm Dubai, a leading resort featuring 230 guest rooms and suites, has experienced a 12 per cent increase in occupancy rates in 2016 as compared to the previous year reaching the target of 90 per cent.

The influx of tourists in the UAE has led to the expansion of Rixos Hotels with additional hotels set to open soon. The next big opening of Rixos Hotels will be in one of Dubai’s prime locations, Jumeirah Beach.

“While the market is dropping by 10-12 per cent, we have a 20 per cent increase compared to the current market. These statistics look promising and we are eager to end the year on a positive note. Next year, we are targeting a 91 per cent year-round occupancy as the first quarter of 2017 displays great potential, a consistency we would like to maintain,” said Erkan Yildirim, senior vice president of Operations.

Rixos The Palm Dubai has emerged as the best performing hotel this year on Instagram and Facebook within Rixos Hotels group of over 20 hotels. In addition, Rixos The Palm Dubai has successfully remained at the top in other social media platforms competing with other key players in the industry. – TradeArabia News Service
