Turkish Airlines to fly thrice to Cuba, Venezuela

ISTANBUL, November 18, 2016

Turkish Airlines, the national carrier, is set to enhance its operations in Americas with the launch of three weekly flights to Havana (Cuba) and Caracas (Venezuela) from next month.

With existing services to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Bogota, Panama, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston, San Francisco, Miami and Atlanta Turkish Airlines adds flights to Havana and Caracas as its 16th and 17th destinations in the Americas.

Beginning from December 20, Havana and Caracas flights will be operated thrice a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays in both directions, said a statement from Turkish Airlines.  

The Turkiash carrier is giving an introductory round trip offer from Istanbul to Havana, the capital and the largest city of Cuba, and Caracas, the capital and the largest city of Venezuela, starting at $699 (including taxes and fees).  

Additionally, for the first 6 months of operation to these new destinations, there is a special offer for Miles&Smiles members, with a 25 per cent reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades, it added. -TradeArabia News Service
