A Fairmont Nile City official receives the Expedia award

Fairmont Nile City, Cairo receives two top awards

CAIRO, November 16, 2016

After the Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards, Fairmont Nile City, Cairo and its Middle Eastern restaurant Bab El Nil received yet another two awards to add to its accolades from Expedia and TripAdvisor.

Expedia’s “Best Improvement 2015-2016” recognised a growth in room night production and room revenue over the past year. The award was presented at the Expedia Annual Summit cocktail reception which was held to promote Egypt and drive more international traffic to the destination. The summit was honored with the presence of the Ministry of Tourism, Egyptian Tourist Authority, and Chamber of Tourism Agencies and Hotels where they discussed 2016 figures and results.

TripAdvisor’s “2016 Certificate of Excellence” recognised the restaurant as one of the top-performing of all businesses worldwide on TripAdvisor consistently achieving great reviews on their website. Certificate of Excellence winners include accommodations, eateries, and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.

This is not the first recognition for Fairmont Nile City in 2016; earlier this year the hotel received TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence,” Booking.com’s “Guest Reviews Award,” and Haute Grandeur’s “Best City Hotel in Egypt” and “Best Sensuous Hotel Spa in Africa.” - TradeArabia News Service
