KidzMondo Doha, a one-of-a-kind miniature edutainment city in Qatar, will open in the third quarter of this year, a senior official of UrbaCon Trading & Contracting announced today.
 
"Aura Retail Company, sister of UrbaCon and owner of the $25 million KidzMondo Doha, has built a unique 8,000-sq-m children edutainment park in the Mall of Qatar and expects to open in the third quarter of this year," said Qatar-based UrbaCon's CEO Moataz al-Khayyat.
 
"I'm pleased to see such a wonderful place for children opening very soon in Qatar where they could express their dreams and hopes and imitate the normal working life. This is a fabulous experince of entertainment and education," said al-Khayyat.
 
KidzMondo Doha will cooperate with more than 70 corporate partners to sponsor various activities and bring the city to life. Children will be able to play all the traditional roles such as firemen, bankers, doctors, pilots, actors, beauticians and earn salaries in KidzMondo’s currency that they can spend in the KidzMondo stores.
 
The project has signed a partnership agreement with Qatar International Islamic Bank to offer kids an opportunity to enact dream roles as employees and customers of a bank and another agreement with Qatar Airways, the world’s fastest growing airline, to support the interactive fun and learning experience for young minds. - TradeArabia News Service
